I wasn't able to sleep, and judging from the noises coming from the washer, drier and Jake's room in the wee morning hours, neither was Jake.

Because I work in technology in a fast paced industry and because I tend towards non fiction literature anyway, I spend most of my time reading technical manuals about computer languages or protocols or science writing such as Richard Dawkins or history or cultural writing such as Elaine Pagels.
