Craig Rayburn Singer Songwriter  Hot PDF Print Email
Description: Craig and his songs are woven from the rich fabric of the West. An incredible mosaic of cowboy, California folk and 60’s rock in a unique debut album. Like the Coyote in his song, Craig boldly sits at the edge of the city lights and comments on life in the West then slips back into the desert canyons before dawn.”

Local singer-songwriter Craig Rayburn is celebrating the release of his debut CD. This well received collection of originals is already getting extensive airplay on KPIG. It’s also being played on KZSC and KKUP radio stations. Craig and his band will be performing March 21st, 2009 at 7:00 at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. Also performing will be Dayan Kai and friends.

Craig Rayburn is a well-seasoned musician, having played guitar and written songs for over three decades. Whether one calls him an Americana artist, a rocker or simply a singer-songwriter, all would be true. His rich voice will captivate you with his songs of love, longing, loss and life. The depth of his voice and the breath of human emotion covered are far-ranging. Rayburn’s powerful vocals strike right at your heart and compel your attention.

If you enjoy singer/songwriters, you owe it to yourself to hear Craig Rayburn. He's been one of my favorites for a very long time. His debut solo CD, Coyote, belongs in your collection.
