The problem is there are quality control issues in the cooking of the cookies. Sometimes (rarely) they are perfect. Usually they are overcooked, dry, and slightly burnt around the edges. They need to turn the oven temperature down a bit and train the staff to get it right. For $1 a cookie we deserve better.

Walking by their location downtown always makes my mouth water. You can smell the goodness from outside! What can I say--their cookies are amazing. I think my favorite is Cahootz--I'm a sucker for macadamia nuts.

If you're in the know, you can get a deal by visiting their factory over by the sash mill.
