Each year, I write a one page End Of Year letter to friends, and I've been able to post it in the member web page area. This worked well because I had a relatively simple URL that I could pass along to friends each year, and I was able put in a link to each year's content. I'm very close to the 10MB limit now. I have been using all five email accounts to make the 10MB possible, even though I am not currently using all five for actual email purposes. One of those accounts receives a couple dozen junk emails each day that are not filtered by your system. Being able to drop that email account would be mutually beneficial. So I was looking forward to the announced big increase in size quota to 5GB. But then I found that it only seems to apply to email, not to the member web space. Perhaps you would say that I should use the wonderful mini-blog feature, but that does not fit with my purposes. I do not see a way for easy organization and moderate length of URL (to send to my non-cruzio friends), even if I tried to use tags to allow some grouping of my own content. Perhaps you would say that I should get my own web site for the extra monthly cost. But the very modest traffic and content size does not make sense. If I could get 50-100MB for my existing web area, it would only be 1-2% of the announced 5GB for each member's email, and that would allow me to continue in the same format for several years. I do not see any mention of a size limit for mini-blogs, so there is apparently very little concern about how much space is used for content that is potentially of interest to only a few people. I believe it is very reasonable to request that the 5GB space quota should be for both email and member web space, and that I should not need to use multiple email accounts to get enough for my modest purposes.
