All Cruzio email addresses come with 10 megabytes of Web space that you can use to make a site or store big files, like photos, that you'd like the world or maybe just grandma to be able to see. You don't have to have a domain name to use the Web, this page will tell you how to get started.

 CRUZIO MEMBER PAGES
Even if you don't have a domain name, you can get your message out to the world through your member Web space. As you can see from this list of Cruzio Member Pages we link to form our homepage, the pages range from lists of favorite links and pictures of the family cat to sites for local businesses.

1. Email Users Have 10MB of Web Space

All email addresses ending in 'cruzio.com' or one of the extra email addresses you get with your Cruzio account, like baymoon.com or icogitate.com, each have 10MB of Web space. If you haven't taken advantage of your extra mailboxes, here's how to get started.

You can put any type of file like text or an image in your Web space, but for it to be visible with a Web browser, like Firefox or Internet Explorer, the files must end in a suffix that the browser can read. For text files that would be .html and for images it's usually .gif or .jpg. The resources in the left column offer additional help and advice to users who want to construct a Web site.

2. Put the Files Into Your Web Space

To upload files from your computer to the server at Cruzio where they can be viewed from the Web, you need a program called File Transfer Protocol (FTP). If you're using a Web editing program like Dreamweaver, FTP is probably built in. If not, try downloading CoreFTP for Windows or RBrowser for Mac.

The FTP program will need the following from the Login Information sheet you got when you started your Cruzio account:

 FTP ACCESS SETTINGS
Account FTP Host Login Password
Cruzio.com
Web/FTP Space
members.cruzio.com Your cruzio.com email login Your cruzio.com email password
Extra Mailbox
Web/FTP Space

ftp.baymoon.com

(or ftp.calcentral.com, etc.)

Your baymoon.com email login

(or calcentral.com, etc. email login)

Your baymoon.com email password

(or calcentral.com, etc. email password)

3. Point Your Browser to This Address

To see how the files look on the Web, put your site's address in the browser address field.

http://members.cruzio.com/~yourlogin

http://www.baymoon.com/~yourlogin (or ftp.calcentral.com, ftp.icogitate.com, etc.)
