Support » Dialup and ISDN

You can't do much on the Net without a connection to it. Cruzio supports both PPP dialup connections and single or dual-channel ISDN. We don't have any fancy-schmancy dialup software for you to have to load. Instead, we use the native dialup software that comes with your computer.

  ACCELERATE YOUR DIALUP

The Cruzio Dialup Accelerator is a FREE service that allows you to browse the Web up to five times faster! It also features a built-in pop-up and advertisement blocker.

Different Types of Cruzio Dialup Accounts

Cruzio supports your dialup modem (speeds of 14.4, 28.8, 33.6 or 56Kbps) as well as single or dual channel ISDN. All IP addressing happens dynamically unless you specified that you wanted a static IP when signing up. Cruzio's 56K modem servers support the v.92 and v.90 (or X2) protocols.

Dialup Login and Password
All dialup accounts require that you submit your dialup login and password to connect to Cruzio. The dialup login is different from your email login but they are assigned the same password when your account is first set up.

If you have a regular dialup or ISDN account, your dialup login is the "x---" number. If you have a static IP with dialup or ISDN, it's "stat----".

Your password is on the Cruzio Login Information sheet you received when you signed up.

Bonded ISDN
If you have signed up for dual-channel ISDN, please be aware that, while your network access is setup on the same day as you sign-up, the actual bonding of your second channel can take an extra business day. Cruzio supports "MultilinkPPP" or "Bandwidth on Demand", which allows you to setup your modem to only access the second channel if the bandwidth is needed.
