Cruzio's new site provides every Cruzio member with a Profile page—a sort of mini-website that you control. Use it to express your personality, publicize your business or both. Your profile is viewable by the general public, but no information about you will be displayed unless you type it in.
How to Get to Your Profile Page
Your Profile Page does not exist until the first time you enter your email address and password in the top right corner of the Cruzio Website. Once it's created, you'll arrive there each time you log in.
Cruzio provides an easy link to your Profile which appears under your Profile image. You can give this address to your friends, put in on your business cards or link to it from other websites. Your address will look like "www.cruzio.com/YourName"—it's easy to remember.

Customizing Your Profile
To start, if you are not logged in to the Cruzio Website, log in now. If you're on another page of the website, click the "Profile" tab to get to your page.
Notice your profile name, visible right under the "My Profile" heading, where it says "Home > Profile > [Your Profile Name]." Until you customize it, your profile name starts with "member" and ends with a number.
Your Profile name will be your identity on the Cruzio site and will appear next to any content you add like reviews, forum posts or listings. Your Profile Name will also be searchable, allowing friends or clients to find you and your page.
Also notice your About Me tab. If you customize your profile, you can display information about yourself to your profile visitors.
To start customizing your Profile name and About Me information:
- Go to the "Edit Profile" section on the left and click "Update my profile."
- To change your profile name, click the Profile Name tab. Enter your new profile name (the maximum length is 25 characters) and click Update. The next time you log in, you'll be able to receive private messages sent to your new name.
- In the About Me tab, fill out any information you'd like to display to your profile visitors. You can choose to leave any or all fields blank. We recommend that you not include personal information such as phone number and address unless you are describing a business. You can include links to other websites or blogs you have.
All the words you put into this section will come up in Cruzio's search engine so others can find you or your business. Once you are done, click Update. You can return any time to make changes.

Customizing Your Profile Image
Your profile image can be a logo if you wish to promote your business, or you can choose a personal photo or graphic. Log in to Cruzio and go to your profile. In the Edit Profile section on the left, click "Update my image."
To upload your own profile image, click "Choose File" and browse to the image file on your computer. Click "Choose" and then click "Upload."
To select a profile image from the gallery, choose an image and click its radio button. Click "Confirm Choice."

Using Your Profile Links
In your Profile, right above your profile tabs, there are convenient links for your important tasks:
- My Email
- Private Messages
- Add Services
- Pay Cruzio Bill
These links help you access your email and email settings, access your private messages, add services to your account, and pay your Cruzio account fees.
Depending on which type of account you have, you may have other links in your Profile as well:
- If your account includes an @cruzio.com email address with Extra Mailboxes, this link lets you add or remove extra email addresses. Once you've set up an extra mailbox, it will have a separate login on cruzio.com and its own profile page, photos, mini-blog, and so on. For more information, read the Extra Mailboxes Help.
- If your account includes Web space, the My Website link takes you to your website's control panel.
- If your account includes Web hosting, the Manage Mailboxes link takes you to the control panel for your domain's email addresses. For more information, read the Domain Email Help.
If you would like more mailboxes or a website but do not see links for these features, contact Cruzio Member Services.

Publishing With Your Profile Tabs
Log in to Cruzio and use your Profile tabs to view and publish your own writing and pictures, from your Profile or from around the Cruzio website. Visitors can also view your content in this area, whether or not they are Cruzio members.
About Me Tab
View your Profile information, your avatar (or profile image), and your rating. (To rate another member, visit their Profile and click their "About Me" tab.)
Events Tab
View and publish your events on the Events page calendar. To add an event to the calendar, click "Add Event" and fill out the form. To change or delete one of your events, click "Manage My Events." Events you enter will be put on the sitewide calendar, and will be seen by the general public. For more help, visit the Events topic.
Forum Tab
Join our Forum discussions to get technical help and to share your own knowledge.
Keep track of your forum posts and notifications under the forum tab. To add a new post, visit the Support page and find the board you are interested in. For more help, visit the Forums topic.
Pictures Tab
Publish pictures in your Profile gallery. These will be seen by any visitor to your profile page and will also be displayed in the "Random Photos" gallery on various parts of the Cruzio Website. To add a photo, click "Upload Picture." For more help, visit the Pictures topic.
Guide Tab
View and publish listings and reviews for the Santa Cruz Guide. To add a new listing, click "Add Listing" and follow the instructions. To add a review, visit the Santa Cruz Guide section. For more help, visit the Santa Cruz Guide help topic.
Friends Tab
View and manage your Cruzio friendships. To ask another member to be your friend, visit their profile and click the "Request Friendship" link at the top of their "About Me" tab. For more help, visit the Friends topic.
Mini-blog Tab
The Mini-blog is a simple way to share your thoughts with the world. View and add Mini-blog posts. To publish a new Mini-blog post, or edit or delete an old post, click "Add and Manage Blog Posts." For more help, visit the Mini-blog topic.
