These instructions are for Cruzio customers who use a Gmail account or Google Apps to access their Cruzio email.

If you notice your Cruzio email account filling up, this is because Gmail or Google Apps is not set to remove messages from our server.

Follow these steps to resolve it:

Gmail

  1. Log into your Gmail account.
  2. Click the "Settings" button in the upper right corner, to the right of your Gmail address.
  3. In the row of links, click "Accounts and Import".
  4. Find the "Check mail using POP3" section. Find your Cruzio email address in this section and click "edit info" to the far right of it. Be sure your web browser allows pop-up windows, otherwise you will not see the new window.
  5. Uncheck the checkbox "Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server".
  6. Click "Save Changes". If prompted, click "Finish".

Google Apps

  1. Log into your Google Apps account.
  2. Click the "Settings" button in the upper right corner, to the right of your email address.
  3. In the row of links, click "Accounts".
  4. Find the "Get mail from other accounts" section. Find your email address hosted by Cruzio in this section and click "edit info" to the far right of it. Be sure your Web browser allows pop-up windows; otherwise, you will not see the new window.
  5. Uncheck the checkbox "Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server".
  6. Click "Save Changes". If prompted, click "Finish".
