Basic Setup

  1. Tap the Home button on the bottom of the iPhone or iPod Touch to activate the screen, and slide to unlock.
  2. On the home page, tap the Settings icon.

Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars," then "Add Account," and then "Other."

  3. In the Name field, enter the name you want to appear on your outgoing emails.

In the Address field, enter your email address.

In the Password field, enter your email password.

In the Description field, enter the same email address you put in the Address field.

On the upper right, tap Save.

  4. Near the top of the screen, tap the POP tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Incoming Mail Server section.
    1. Tap Host Name.

If you are using Cruzio Mail, enter mail.cruzio.com. If you are using Cruzio Domain Email or Cruzio Classic Email, enter mail.mydomain.com (where mydomain.com is the name of your domain).

    2. Tap User Name.
      • If you are using Cruzio Mail, enter the part of your email address before the @ sign.

Example: If your email address is demo@cruzio.com, enter demo.

      • If you are using Cruzio Domain Email, enter your entire email address.

Example: If your email address is demo@mydomain.com, enter demo@mydomain.com.

      • If you are using Cruzio Classic Email, enter the part of your email address before the @ sign.
    3. Tap Password and enter your email password (it may already be filled in).
  6. Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section.
    1. Tap Host Name and enter mx.cruzio.com. On the upper right, tap Save.
    2. In the Cannot Connect Using SSL message, tap No.
    3. On the upper right, tap Save. A second Save button pops up, so tap Save again.
  7. That should do it. Test your settings by sending yourself an email and then receiving it back.

If it doesn't work, follow the additional steps below.

Additional Steps

If the Basic Setup steps don't get your email working, follow these additional steps.

  1. In the Accounts section, tap your email address.
  2. Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section.

    Tap SMTP.

In the Primary Server Section, tap mx.cruzio.com.

In the Use SSL section, Tap Off.

In the Server Port section, change the number from 25 to 587.

  3. On the upper left, tap SMTP.

On the upper left, tap the button once more to return to the main account setting screen.

    Near the bottom, tap Advanced.

  4. If the "Use SSL" button is on, tap it off.
  5. That should really do it! Test your settings by sending yourself an email and then receiving it back.
