Author Topic: Outlook fails to download email from Cruzio POP server  (Read 6456 times)

Hi,

One of the people here has a strange problem with Outlook (2000) and the Cruzio Pop server. When she clicks on Send/Receive, Outlook claims to be downloading pending messages, but they don't show up anywhere (in any folder, Junk or not) and Outlook reports a Mail Delivery Error (e.g. 50 messages couldn't be retrieved from the server).

Has anyone seen this problem before?

Thanks in advance,
David Wellington

There are a variety of reasons why a mail program would give an error when attempting to receive new messages.

One possible reason is that there could be a corrupted email message in the inbox preventing the mail program from downloading new messages.  Try logging into the email address through our webmail on our homepage and delete any spam messages in there.  Then log out of the webmail and try clicking on that Send/Receive button in Outlook again.

If the error message still shows up, please call into Cruzio Technical Support at 831-459-6301 option 4 so we can help you further with this problem.
