This help page explains how to import or export an address book from one program or computer to another program or computer.
Cruzio recommends exporting addresses in the .csv (comma separated values) format when possible; it's compatible with most address books.
Outlook Express is the email program included with Windows computers up through Windows XP.
These instructions assume that you have already exported addresses from another program or computer to a text file, and that you have the exported file on the computer you are using for importing.

Outlook 2007 is an email program for Windows.
In the menu, choose File > Import and Export.
Choose "Export to a file" and click Next.
Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)."
Select Contacts. Be sure to select the "Include subfolders" checkbox. Click Next.
Click the Browse button and locate the address file you had exported earlier.
Click Open.
Choose the option you prefer for handling duplicates. Click Next.
Thunderbird is a free email program recommended by Cruzio.
In the Address Book menu, choose Tools > Export.
In the "Save in" menu, choose Desktop.
In the "File name" field, enter a name for the new file.
In the "Save as type" menu, select a file type. Cruzio recommends Comma Separated as the type most compatible with other email programs. Click Save. (Cruzio suggests saving to your computer's Desktop.)
These instructions assume that you have already exported addresses from another program or computer, and that you have the exported file on the computer you are using for importing.
In the Address Book menu, choose Tools > Import.
Select Address Books. Click Next.
Select your address book file. (To see your file, you may need to set the "files of type" menu to your file type, for instance, Comma Separated.) Click Open.
Make sure the "Address Book fields" match the "Record data to import." Uncheck items you don't want to import.
When you are ready to import, click OK, then click Finish.
Windows Mail is the email program included with Windows Vista.
In the menu, choose File > Export > Windows Contacts.
Select an export format. Cruzio recommends "CSV (Comma Separated Values)" as the most compatible with other email programs. Click Export.
Type a name for the exported file. Click Browse. Choose a folder to save the file to.
Click Save. Click Next.
Make sure all the address book fields you want are checked. Click Finish.
Select the format of your address file. Click Import.
Click Browse. Choose the file you want to import and click Open. Click Next.
If you have any duplicates, you'll be asked to choose whether to replace the originals. Choose an answer.
Click Close.
Address Book is the address program included with Mac computers as part of OS X.
If you are importing a vCard file, click Add when prompted.
If you are importing a text file, such as a .csv file, use the pop-up menus in the Text File Import dialog to specify how to import the data. Then click OK.
In the menu, choose Tools > Export.
In the Save As field, enter a name for the new file.
In the Where menu, choose a location to save the new file.
In the Format menu, choose a file type. Cruzio recommends Comma Separated as the type most compatible with other email programs. Click Save. (Cruzio suggests saving to your computer's Desktop.)
In the menu, choose Tools > Import.
Choose Address Books and click Next.
In the "Select address book file" window, locate the file you want to import. Click Open.
To check individual contacts, click the Next button at the top to cycle through them.
Cruzio Mail comes with email addresses with a Cruzio-owned domain—cruzio.com, baymoon.com, calcentral.com, cruziolatino.com, ebold.com, elgatito.com, icogitate.com, rattlebrain.com, scshop.com or skyhighway.com.
In the main part of the Addresses page, find the "Address book export" section.
Without making any changes to the options (unless you know exactly what you are doing), click the "Export to CSV File" button. Save the resulting file to your computer. (Cruzio suggests saving to your computer's Desktop.)

Domain Webmail (Horde) comes with email addresses with your own domain—yourdomain.com—as part of Cruzio's Website Basic, Plus and Premium hosting services.
Find the section headed "Export Address Book."
Select the export format by choosing "Comma separated values." (This format is the most compatible with other programs.)
Select the address book you want to export.
Click the Export button and save the resulting file to your computer. (Cruzio suggests saving to your computer's Desktop.)
Find the section headed "Import Address Book, Step 1."
Select the format that matches the source file you are importing. (If you're not sure which format to use, look at the extension of the file you had exported earlier. For example, an extension of ".csv" stands for "Comma separated values.")
Skip the option to replace the existing address book, unless you're absolutely sure you want to do this.
Select the address book you want to import the addresses to.
Skip the option to select a charset.
Select the file to import by clicking the button and choosing the source file from your computer.
Click Next.
The beginning of the source file will be shown. If it contains the field names, such as "Name," "Email Address," etc., select the checkbox.
Leave the other options unchanged, and click Next.
In the "Imported fields" box, select "E-Mail Address." In the "Available fields" box, select "Email." Click the "Add Pair" button.
Repeat this action for any additional information you want to import, matching the imported field you want with the appropriate available field.
At the top of the page, click the Browse icon.
In the row of alphabet letters, click All to browse your entire Address Book.
Make sure the addresses and information you wanted have been imported.
Classic Webmail (Open WebMail) comes with email addresses with your own domain—yourdomain.com—if you purchased domain hosting from Cruzio before July of 2006.
Select each address you want to export by checking the box next to it.
Select an export format of "CSV (Comma Separated Value)." Skip the option to change the Charset. Click Export Now.
Browse for the file to import by clicking the button and selecting the address file you had exported earlier.
Choose the format that matches the address file you are importing. (If you're not sure which format to use, look at the extension of the file you had exported earlier. For example, an extension of ".csv" stands for "Comma Separated Value.") If you are importing a .csv file, choose "CSV (first line contains field names)."
Choose a destination address book for the imported data. Click Import.
