No matter what you may have heard from certain people in southern California, Santa Cruz is the one and only Surf City, and any other city which claims the title has compensation issues which we need not discuss here, suffice to say they are wrong.

Santa Cruz has many fine surf spots, some like Cowell's and Steamer Lane, are accessible from Santa Cruz's famed West Cliff Drive.
