Study begins or OCN cert

kathcartRN Published in Untagged  by kathcartRN Print

Okay, I've been in oncology nursing for 5 years, maybe more, as my rotation focus in nursing school was oncology. myself and two coworkers have decided to become OCN certified, thus advancing our practice.

I'm beginning my study with Comfort of the Cancer pain, sub-catagory is Pain. I have looked all over (books, the web, palm resources)  for a definition of "psychomemetric pain," and have not found an answer. This is getting frustrating. Tomorrow I go back to work; I plan to ask my buddies in the pharmacy. Wish me luck...... do you know what is ment by psychomemetric pain?

I don't know the first thing about the subject, but could it be a typo for "psychometric pain"?

Best wishes with your studies, to you and your co-workers. I should really get it together with my continuing learning, too. Nothing as noble as your subject; I need to learn javascript.
