This will be my first Mother's Day. My twins are not yet big enough to bring me breakfast in bed or make me a finger painting, so I thought I'd swap it around and note why I appreciate them!

Appreciation #1: You smile (and make me smile!) even at 2am. Seriously, when has the middle of the night ever been so adorable?

Appreciation #2: You notice the little things: the trees blowing in the wind, the dog licking your toes and the shadows dancing on the ceiling. Your awareness bring me into the moment, too.

 Appreciation #3: All is good! In your life there is only joy, comfort, and love. There is no negativity, no politics, no fear. What a beautiful reminder of how simple life should be!

And above all, thank you for being here and being you. As I told your dad recently, every day I spend with you two is the best day of my life.  I love you both.
