    A very merry winter solstice to everyone today, the shortest day and longest night when we turn inward from the cold and get ready for the increrasing light and warmer days.  I was just out walking along West Cliff Dr. and enjoying the rain as I was looking forward to the coming year.  May it be better than the last for all of us.
