 Alisa Krylova from Russia has won the "Mrs. Globe-2011" beauty contest held in the USA. The 28-year-old Alisa is mother of two children and a successful businesswoman. Only married women were eligible to participate in the event which is organized regularly since last 15 years. The beauty pageant is organized by by the Women in Need charity foundation.

On Wednesday, December 2, twenty-one women gathered for the first 100+ Women Who Care-Santa Cruz meeting, each bringing a blank check for $100. After hearing five-minute presentations from three nominated charities, the group voted to make a donation to Mini Mermaids, an after-school running program— based at Del Mar Elementary School in Live Oak —for
