How to book the acoustic music series at the Ugly Mug
Part of the Good Times Making Noise blog. My goal is to provide helpful information to local bands on how to book shows and build their audience.
In today's high-tech music market, sometimes you just can't trust what you hear. Consider the ease with which artists can produce their own tracks bursting

I was caught by surprise by Genevieve Bookwalter's story in the Sentinel Friday that construction of a visitors center for the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary could begin by January.
Last time I heard, they needed about $3 million in contributions from the community. Bookwalter's story says the project will be $16 million. Her story says that $13.6 million

But let's face it: it seems the only time SC makes the national news is when we're onstage as an example of the worst side of liberalism. Peggy's last post about the rambling woman who
