I am going to take care of myself
I am going to drink good, strong coffee
I am going to feed myself
It is raining, so
The garden is watered
I am at Herland
I will take care of this beautiful space
And enjoy these last few days
I make my list
For this afternoon:
Go to the batting cages
To practice having fun
And all the way to the bank
I will be laughing
Statistics and crime map…

Saturday was incredibly lovely on my lousy commute.
There were a lot of water craft on the bay, kayaks, sailboats, paddle surfers, surfers and above, the Chardonnay II.
The waves at Cowell's were almost nonexistent, Steamer's was a different story. The waves were pretty good, and there were a large number of surfers to ride them.

I know a lot of people are enjoying this warm weather right now, but this isn't early August, it's late November, and it's too damn hot. Couple of folks have asked the stories behind my tattoos. I started getting inked at 18, average one a year, and now have 27 totaling about 60 hours of work from nine different artists.

Mr. Suzuki, one of our wonderful hosts. He is a storyteller and was able to communicate effectively even when we were not speaking the same language. I think Bonnie has a better picture of him, but here's one that I took:
This is Cynthia getting a little giddy at one of our meetings. It does look like we had a great time, doesn't it? We did.
