Great Neighborhood Place,  05/07/10 at 3:49 PM We tried The Point Chop House and Lounge on Portola. (It's in the building shere the Portola House was forever.)
The REALLY good:
pulled pork sliders $2 each on Thursdays
Three cheese macaroni and cheese - Comfort food but with adult sensibilities. Cheesy Heaven.
The crab cakes. Almost solid crab meat. Very little filler. Tasty.

The not-so-good:
Asian slaw. I think the kitchen put it together without tasting it. It was bitter. They brought me some more after I said something. This time it was bitter but with salt added.

The service was friendly and attentive.

Look for coupons in the local weeklies.

 Dipped Cones!,  05/07/10 at 3:38 PM I only go here for the soft serve ice milk dipped in chocolate. Just make sure they dip it all the way so it seals the ice milk to the cone or you'll be dripping down your shirt. Mmm...dip cone...
