My mom always stays at the Mission Inn when she comes to Santa Cruz. It's well-located for us, right on the West Side of town, near good restaurants and a donut shop, and close to the beach and downtown.

We've always liked the staff at the Mission Inn. They're friendly and reasonable about things. The price is economical. Overall, not a beautiful place but one that provides what we need very well. We had tried a number of hotels and motels, and this one has worked best.
