Though lacking in bathrooms, Aptos Polo Grounds is the best place to legally take your dogs off-leash in Santa Cruz County. The very large fenced dog yard has plenty of room to play fetch, gated areas to leash or unleash your dog and big water fountains for thirsty puppies. Next to the dog yard is a large field where you can walk your dog while enjoying the birds passing overhead and trees ringing the park.
