I have stayed here about 3 times when I needed to hear the sound of waves against the shore. It's an old-fashioned kind of place, with cute, small, "courtyard" type rooms that overlook Cowell Beach. You are at the beginning of West Cliff Drive, so it's a great spot from which to take a walk. There is a terraced garden going down the cliff that has some chairs and tables; nice places to relax with a book or glass of wine. They even have a "honeymoon suite", which apparently has a big hot tub. Parking is off street, just outside the building, and the building is gated and locked. If you want a fresh, clean place with old-school beach charm, this is the ticket.
