When, if ever, can customers like myself with domains hosted by Cruzio expect genuinely secure (encrypted) web access to e-mail via, say HTTPS? When I travel and use Cruzio's web portal for e-mail access and, for example, the hotel (or other public access) has only a wifi system, I am always faced with the unhappy choice of not checking e-mail till I find something a tad more secure or logging in and hoping no bad dudes are eavesdropping.

Today. 1. Secure Login There is a link in the login box at the upper right of every page which, when clicked, directs the browser to https://www.cruzio.com establishing an SSL encrypted connection between your browser and www.cruzio.com. Now you can login without worrying that someone with a wireless sniffer in the hotspot can grab your email login and password.
2. Get Email When you click on this link, it will go to the SSL secured Webmail server for @cruzio.com, @baymoon.com (etc) addon domains and the Classic domains.
Because of the way the new WebSite* domains are hosted, only people who install their own secure certificate can provide for an SSL encrypted Webmail connection. Secure certificates have come way down in price and are now available for as low as $35.00 from some vendors (per year, the darned things have to be renewed annually...). The folks in Support can help WebSite* customers who wish to pursue this path.
BUG: web site is checking IP it is talking to and freaking out when it changes. It set a cookie. If it can read its cookie it is talking to the same computer. I have multiple ADSL's with hard IPs. Top talk to this site I now need to set the preferences in the router to IP. It is a pain Please just verify it's one of your IPs and let it be instead of logging me off thanks
We're cogitating on a better way to do authentication. There are situations, say with bonded DSLs as you describe, or through an AOL style proxy, where keying off IPs is not workable.

We're working on a number of additional features to the new site, and a secure login which defaults to the SSL email is number one on the list.
We don't have a specific date on this as we need to work out some Joomla issues, then test test test, but can safely say weeks and not months.
