About Us » Copyright Policy

It is Cruzio's policy to conform to Title II of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 511 et seq.), which outlines an Internet Service Provider's (ISP) obligations if one of its subscribers offers infringing copy online.

The statute describes "notice and takedown" provisions, stating that once an ISP a receives notice of the copyright infringement, it must take down the unauthorized material.

In addition to adhering to those and other requirements, Cruzio has designated an agent to receive notices from unhappy copyright owners. The registry of agents is maintained by the Library of Congress and, in our case, all emailed complaints should be sent to IPabuse@cruzio.com.
